Since quite recently no longer with us, this American's are, for me, foremost among a number of artists whose works I've saved and stored away over the last decade and a half, numbering over 700 to date.
I've also collected eighteen other artists internationally-known for their queer masterpieces - plus another more-than-a-dozen I can't identify - (though not including the over-familiar to me Tom of Finland, whom, I assume, the vast majority of gay men know). But Kirwan was, for my own tastes, the stand-out master.
So why should I keep saving his creations, only as 'tossing-off' material, and not share them with other guys having similar 'filthy' tastes to mine?
