It's believed that in maybe half of Roman crucifixions at the time the victim was actually totally naked (in order to maximise the humiliation?) - and for someone who claimed to be 'King of the Jews' I should have thought that his cock ought to have been exposed in order to show him to onlookers as having been 'skinned' down there. In addition, the excruciating pain of being nailed to the cross would sometimes cause him to have an erection and if he had, like these three guys, been wearing a loincloth, his stiffie might well have loosened it and made it fall away. It's a fascinating subject to spend time and fantasy thinking about.
