ReplyDeleteOn the subject of fading looks and bodies, just the other day I came across a photo of a guy who looks uncannily like how I used to look when I was at my best - i.e. probably in my 30s - that it made me do a double-take and, frankly, gave me the creeps. The only difference is that his beard is visibly brown whereas mine always looked to be black - at least before it started turning into the Father Xmas white which it now is! (Far, far more on the chin now than on top!) I'll put that guy's pic up in one of my forthcoming posts with a reference to it looking very much like how I appeared.
Yes, I want to think that there are many guys around who share my/our 'interests' but are too shy to acknowledge it to others, though I should have thought that the ability of going anonymous would have taken away any such inhibitions. But when they do' come out' as you have done, it makes me feel really happy for them. I await all such guys hovering in the background to bite the bullet and declare themselves with no shame. I've never had anything other than a simple land-line myself so am not conversant with the difficulties these 'modern contraptions' bring. I'd like to think that the reason for the rarity of comments I get is at least partly due to others having the like problem. It's good of you to persist to eventually get here.
